DAY 1 AT REJSBY SCHOOL 19th January

DIA 1 NA ESCOLA   19 JANEIRO

We woke up 6:30 a.m. so we could have time to wash up and at 7:30 we all got together at the canteen so we had breakfast. Afterwards we had a small firedrill. 

The first activity was our introduction to each other: we played a game so we could remember each other´s names more easily; then we played a second game where we would rotate in order to meet different students and introduce each other; next we watched a Powerpoint about Denmark; the last activity was two tests we did in the app kahoot (the first test was about curiosities on Portugal and Denmark and the second was about sports). 

We then had a small break to eat, hang out and play some ball.

Afterwards we had a cooking activity: we joined in groups of 4 and made traditional layer cakes together. Then we came back to the classroom and learned some basic Danish sentences. 

At half past noon we went to the canteen and had lunch and after lunch we are going to try some traditional Danish food while blindfolded and we have to try to guess what it is that we are eating... 

Finally, we will all go with our exchange students to their homes. Time to meet a new family!!

Acordámos às 6h30 para termos tempo de tomar banho e às 7h30 estarmos todos na cantina para o pequeno almoco. Em seguida houve um simulacro de incêndio.

A primeira atividade foi a nossa apresentacao: jogámos um jogo para memorizarmos os nomes uns dos outros; depois, jogámos um segundo jogo, em que tínhamos de rodar de modo a conversar com parceiros diferentes e nos conhecermos melhor; depois vimos um Powerpoint sobre a Dinamarca; a última atividade consistiu em dois testes da aplicacao Kahoot (o primeiro sobre curiosidades sobre Portugal e Dinamarca e o segundo sobre desportos).
Em seguida, tivemos um curto intervalo para comer, estarmos juntos e jogar algum jogo.
Posto isto, participámos numa competicao culinária: em grupos de 4 fizemos bolos juntos.
Depois, regressámos à sala de aula para aprender algumas frases dinamarquesas básicas.
Ao meio dia e meia hora fomos para a cantina almocar e depois de almoco  vamos ter uma prova cega (estaremos de olhos vendados) para experimentar comidas típicas e tentar adivinhar o que estamos a comer...
Finalmente, vamos todos com os nossos parceiros para as suas casas. Tempo de conhecer uma nova família!!
